The allure and power of Packaging design never ceases to amaze me!

I don’t know about you, but I am a complete SUCKER for beautiful packaging! It could be a can of sardines, a bar of soap, a wedge of cheese, or even a box of socks…but if I like the way it’s packaged, you can be sure that it will find a way into my shopping cart. The funny thing about packaging is that it can be glamorous or simple, but if it is done right, it has the power of persuasion.  I may not always need what the pretty little wrapper holds inside, but I still have to have it.  Sometimes I justify these purchases by telling myself that I will hold onto them and give them to a friend when a birthday or holiday rolls around.  Other times, I just buy it….no questions asked.

I can’t be the only one who has fallen victim to the allure of packaging, can I?  If you too have been persuaded by a box, a bottle, or a carton, we’d love to hear from you.  Let us know what product or package has forced it’s way into your heart or cart.

P.S. In my experience when the packaging design is great…so is the product!
